How to place an order

There are 4 different ways of placing an order:

- by telephone on 0207 193 0887 - by post with a printout of your order and payment method to: Caractère 3 rue Montgolfier 93116 Rosny sous Bois Cedex France. We will send you confirmation by e-mail that we have received your order.

The ordering process consists of four (4) easy steps:

Once you have chosen the products you would like to buy and have confirmed your basket, you must:

- choose your delivery method
- accept the general terms and conditions of sale
- select your method of payment and log in.
- Once you have chosen your method of payment, you must pay for your order, which legally finalises the purchase agreement made with CARACTERE.

This home delivery option enables you to receive your parcel in 2 to 3 days with Parcelforce. Place your order before 1 pm and it will processed on the same day, if the product that you have ordered is in stock on our site.

Caractere offers 4 methods of payment : by Credit card (Visa or MasterCard), bank transfer or PayPal.

caractere uses GlobeCharge to guarantee the security of your payments.

Caractere has chosen to assure payment security with GlobeCharge by encrypting the connection when transmitting information on the network.

When you see the payment sign, you will know that your payment is secure.


Please note that if the security department suspects fraud, we have the right to cancel the transaction for security reasons.

To pay by credit card, your account is debited when your order is forwarded on condition that we have received pre-authorisation for your account. If sufficient funds are not available, your order will not be taken into account.

For online payment made by credit card, the “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) security system is used, which allows for encrypting your banking information when on the network.

Bank transfer: your payment will be processed when your bank transfer is received. Once your payment is received, we will dispatch your goods. The processing of off-line payments may take several days.
